- 5.0 Ammonium Acetate is a concentrated stock solution and should be diluted appropriately with distilled, deionized water or equivalent to its final working concentration. This buffer contains untitrated 5.0 M Ammonium Acetate. Meticulously prepared using ultra pure reagents dissolved in highly polished pharmaceutical grade deionized water treated with diethyl pyrocarbonate (DEPC).

Ammonium Acetate can be used for the precipitations of proteins and as a multipurpose buffer solution. Diethylpyrocarbonate (DEPC) is used to inactivate RNase enzymes in water and can also be used to affect the double-stranded structure of a DNA molecule. 5.0 M Ammonium Acetate is ideal for investigators in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Immunology research.
