    Hintergrund
8 Hydroxyguanosine (80G) is a modified base which occurs in DNA as a result of oxidative stress. 8 Hydroxy-2'deoxyguanosine (8OHdG) has become a sensitive marker of oxidative damage in cellular DNA and has been reported to be excreted in the urine. Levels of 8OHdG have been shown to increase on exposure to ionizing radiation and tobacco smoke.Synonyms: 8-Hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine, 8-Hydroxyguanine, 8-Hydroxyguanosine, 8-OFdG, 8-OHG, 8OG, 8OHG, 8OHdG
