This monoclonal antibody reacts with natural and recombinant Human GM-CSF. Does not show any cross reaction with other Human Cytokines or Growth Factors tested such as M-CSF, G-CSFR, IL-8, IL-16, IL1-beta, TGF beta-1 and TNF-alpha.
ELISA: This antibody can be used as a capture antibody in sandwich ELISA applications forhuman GM-CSF detection in combination with a monoclonal tracer/detection antibody. Suggested Capture Coating Dose: 0.3 μg/well, Substrate: TMB. If the above suggestedconditions are followed approximately 2 pg/mL of GM-CSF in serum/plasma or medium canbe detected with an assay range of 0-500 pg/mL. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

The cytokine GM-CSF stimulates the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells from various lineages, including granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils and erythrocytes. Used in myeloid reconstitution following bone marrow transplant, bone marrow transplant engraftment failure or delay, mobilization and following transplantation of autologous peripheral blood progenitor cells, and following induction chemotherapy in older adults with acute myelogenous leukemia.Synonyms: CSF2, Colony stimulating factor 2, GMCSF, Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor, Molgramostin, Sargramostim
