- Hintergrund
- CD97 is a 75-85 kDa monomeric glycoprotein that is present on the surface of most activated leucocytes. It is a receptor involved in both cell adhesion and signaling. CD97 is a member of the G protein coupled receptor family (subfamily CD55). It is expressed abundantly in cells of hematopoietic origin and is markedly upregulated on activated T and B cells. ESTs have been isolated from a wide variety of tissue libraries.Synonyms: Leukocyte antigen CD97
