Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p))
Spezifität
Reacts with Human Gastrin-Releasing Peptide Receptor (GRPR, Family: GPCR, Subfamily: Bombesin), 2nd extracellular domain. GRP-R has been reported in brain, breast, colon, lung, lymph node, ovary, placenta, prostate, stomach, and uterus. It has also been shown to be expressed in several cancers, including those in breast, colon, lung, ovary, pancreas, and prostate.
Western blot (5 μg/mL). Immunocytochemistry (Use acetone as fixative). Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Embedded Sections (4 μg/mL): Steam slides in 0.01 Msodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 at 99-100 °C for 20 min, Remove from heat and let stand atroom temperature in buffer for 20 min. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

GRPR mediates signals of cellular proliferation and it has been shown to be aberrantly expressed in several cancers such as colon, lung, ovary, pancreas and prostate. It also expressed at very high levels in normal pancreas and at lower levels in brain, breast, colon, lung, lymph node, ovary, placenta, prostate, stomach and uterus.Synonyms: GRP-R, GRP-preferring bombesin receptor, GRPR
