Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p))
Spezifität
This antibody detects endogenous levels of p62Dok only when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 362.
Aufreinigung
Affinity Chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from Human p62Dok around the phosphorylation site of tyrosine 362 (P-I-Yp-D-E).
Western Blot: 1: 500approx. 1: 1000. Immunohistochemistry: 1: 50approx. 1: 100. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Target
DOK1
(Docking Protein 1, 62kDa (Downstream of tyrosine Kinase 1) (DOK1))
DOK1 (Downstream of tyrosine kinase 1, or Docking protein 1) is believed to be a mainly cytoplasmic adaptor protein which down-regulates mitogen-activated protein kinase activation, inhibits cell proliferation and transformation, and promotes cell spreading and cell migration. DOK1 appears to be a negative regulator of the insulin signaling pathway.Synonyms: Docking protein 1, Downstream of tyrosine kinase 1, p62(dok), pp62
