Applikationshinweise
Peptide ELISA: Antibody Detection Limit Dilution: 1/2,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 28 kDa band in Human Liver andLung lysates as well as in different epithelial lung cell lines after 0.3 μg/mL antibodystaining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for theband we observe given the calculated size of 171 kDa according to NP_872584.1 and54.8 kDa according to NP_079043.2 (isotope 3). The 28 kDa band was successfully blockedby incubation with the immunizing peptide. Immunohistochemistry: 5 μg/mL. In paraffin embedded Human Adrenal Gland (Medulla)shows strong reticulate staining in the cytoplasm of medular cells. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Hintergrund
DLC1 functions as a GTPase-activating protein specific for Rho and an activator of PLCD1 in vivo and induces morphological changes and detachment through cytoskeletal reorganization. DLC1 is a candidate tumor suppressor gene for human liver cancer, as well as for prostate, lung, colorectal, and breast cancers.Synonyms: Deleted in liver cancer 1 protein, HP protein, KIAA1723, Rho GTPase-activating protein 7, Rho-type GTPase-activating protein 7, STARD12, START domain-containing protein 12, StAR-related lipid transfer protein 12
