Peptide ELISA: 1/128000. Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave no signal but low background in Human Heartlysates at up to 1 μg/mL. However this used our routine western blotting protocol which wewould not expect to reliably detect proteins as large as the predicted size of approx.312KDa according to NP_055542. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: Human Testis shows cytoplasm staining ofspermatids. Recommended concentration: 5 - 10 μg/mL.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. - Beschränkungen

- Hintergrund
- KMT2D / MLL4 contains multiple domains including a CXXC zinc finger, three PHD zinc fingers, two FY-rich domains, and a SET (suppressor of variegation, enhancer of zeste, and trithorax) domain. The SET domain is a conserved C-terminal domain that characterizes proteins of the MLL (mixed-lineage leukemia) family. This protein is ubiquitously expressed in adult tissues where it possibly acts as a transcriptional regulatory factor. It is also expressed in solid tumor cell lines, and may be involved in human cancer. Two alternatively spliced gene transcripts encoding distinct isoforms have been reported, however, the full length nature of the shorter transcript is not known.Synonyms: HRX2, Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase MLL4, KIAA0304, KMT2D, Lysine N-methyltransferase 2D, MLL2, Myeloid/lymphoid or mixed-lineage leukemia protein 4, TRX2, Trithorax homolog 2, WBP7, WW domain-binding protein 7
