- Anti-Nav1.6 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Nav1.6 from Mouse, Human, and Rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with Nav1.6 from other sources has not been determined. Ion Channels research.

Background: Voltage gated sodium channels initiate action potentials in neurons. Nav1.6 subunits have been assessed to meditate resurgent and persistent sodium currents in cells with a resulting effect on repetitive firing behavior. Nav1.6 subunits have been found to activate at more negative voltages than other Nav subunits.
