The antibody can be used in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. It has been designed to recognize Homer1 from human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody will not recognize Homer1 short isoform 3 (also known as Homer1a), but will recognize isoform 2 (also known as Homer1b).
