- Hintergrund
- Background: THRAP/TRAP240 is a component of the TRAP (thyroid hormone receptor associated protein) complex. The TRAP complex is also known as Mediator and functions as a coactivator of transcription by bridging DNA bound transcription factors to the basal transcription machinery. THRAP1/TRAP240 has been reported to form a complex with MED12, cyclin C, and CDK8 and negatively regulates transcription.
