IP: 2 - 10 μg/mg lysate
WB: Not recommended. ABIN7451177 has not performed satisfactorily when used for WB of COASY in crude preparations (e.g. whole cell lysate). This antibody can be used for WB of enriched (e.g. immunoprecipitated) sources of COASY.

- Hintergrund
- Background: Coenzyme A synthase (COASY) is a bifunctional enzyme that catalyzes the fourth and fifth sequential steps of CoA biosynthetic pathway. The fourth reaction is catalyzed by the phosphopantetheine adenylyltransferase, coded by the coaD domain, the fifth reaction is catalyzed by the dephospho-CoA kinase, coded by the coaE domain. COASY may act as a point of CoA biosynthesis regulation [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) Q13057].
