- Hintergrund
- Background: TKS4 (tyrosine kinase substrate with four SH4 domains), also known as SH3 and PX domain-containing protein 2B (SH3PXD2B), is an adapter protein involved in invadopodia and podosome formation and extracellular matrix degradation. TKS4 binds matrix metalloproteinases (ADAMs), NADPH oxidases (NOXs) and phosphoinositides. TKS4 plays a role in mitotic clonal expansion during the immediate early stage of adipocyte differentiation [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) A1X283].
