Chernova, Hunyadi, Malaj, Pan, Crooks, Roe, Cowell: "A novel member of the WD-repeat gene family, WDR11, maps to the 10q26 region and is disrupted by a chromosome translocation in human glioblastoma cells." in: Oncogene, Vol. 20, Issue 38, pp. 5378-92, (2001) (PubMed).
BRWD2 (Bromodomain and WD repeat-containing protein 2) contains 9 WD repeats. WD40 domain, found in a number of eukaryotic proteins that cover a wide variety of functions including adaptor/regulatory modules in signal transduction, pre-mRNA processing and cytoskeleton assembly, BRWD2 typically contains a GH dipeptide 11-24 residues. BRWD2 (Bromodomain and WD repeat-containing protein 2) is a single-pass membrane protein. A chromosomal aberration involving BRWD2 is found in a form of glioblastoma. Translocation t(10,19)(q26,q13.3) with ZNF320. Synonyms: KIAA1351, WDR11 (WD repeat-containing protein 11), WDR15 (WD repeat-containing protein 15)
