This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-GABRG2 Antibody. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.

GABRG2
(gamma-aminobutyric Acid (GABA) A Receptor, gamma 2 (GABRG2))
Hintergrund
This gene encodes a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor. GABA is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammlian brain, where it acts at GABA-A receptors, which are ligand-gated chloride channels. GABA-A receptors are pentameric, consisting of proteins from several subunit classes: alpha, beta, gamma, delta and rho. Mutations in this gene have been associated with epilepsy and febrile seizures.
