A synthetic peptide for use as a blocking control in assays to test for specificity of AES antibody, Alternative Names: AES control peptide, AES antibody Blocking Peptide, Anti-AES Blocking Peptide, Amino-Terminal Enhancer Of Split Blocking Peptide, AES-1 Blocking Peptide, AES-2 Blocking Peptide, ESP1 Blocking Peptide, GRG Blocking Peptide, GRG5 Blocking Peptide, TLE5 Blocking Peptide
AES is similar in sequence to the amino terminus of Drosophila enhancer of split groucho, a protein involved in neurogenesis during embryonic development. The protein, which belongs to the groucho/TLE family of proteins, can function as a homooligomer or as a heteroologimer with other family members to dominantly repress the expression of other family member genes.
