Blocking Peptide (BP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blotting (WB)
Produktmerkmale
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PARK7 antibody (Catalog #: ARP51267_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Each Investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.

Hintergrund
PARK7 belongs to the peptidase C56 family of proteins. It acts as a positive regulator of androgen receptor-dependent transcription. It may also function as a redox-sensitive chaperone, as a sensor for oxidative stress, and it apparently protects neurons against oxidative stress and cell death. Defects in this gene are the cause of autosomal recessive early-onset Parkinson disease 7.The product of this gene belongs to the peptidase C56 family of proteins.
