- Hintergrund
- UBE2D2 is a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. This enzyme functions in the ubiquitination of the tumor-suppressor protein p53, which is induced by an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. UBE2D2 catalyzes ubiquitination of IkB-alpha in a phosphorylation and SCFB-TRCP dependent manner. Recombinant human UBE2D2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Synonyms: Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 D2, E2(17)KB2, PUBC1, UBC4, UBC4/5, UBCH5B. NCBI no.: NP_003330
