PPIL2, which belongs to the cyclophilin family of peptidylprolyl isomerases, is an enzyme that plays an important role in protein folding, immunosuppression by cyclosporin A, and infection of HIV-1 virions. This protein interacts with the proteinase inhibitor eglin c and is localized in the nucleus. Recombinant PPIL2 protein was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Synonyms: CYC4, Cyp-60, CYP60, hCyP-60, GC33174, Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 2 Cyclophilin 60, Cyclophilin like protein Cyp 60, CYP60, Peptidyl prolyl cis trans isomerase like 2, PPIase, Rotamase PPIL2.
