GADD45B is a member of GADD45 family (GADD45 alpha, beta, and gamma) that are nuclear proteins which interact with various proteins implicated in stress responses and cell-cycle-related proteins. The function of GADD45 proteins is involved in growth-regulatory mechanisms and apoptosis. GADD45B is necessary for adult neurogenesis, including brain-derived neurotrophic factor and fibroblast growth factor. And therefore, this protein is implicated in affecting synaptic plasticity. Recombinant GADD45B protein was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Alternative Names: myeloid differentiation primary response gene protein, growth arrest and DNA-damage-inducible 45 beta protein, GADD45B protein, ADD45 beta protein, Growth arrest and DNA-damage-inducible beta protein, Growth arrest and DNA-damage-inducible protein protein, GADD45BETA protein, Negative growth-regulatory protein MyD118., MYD118 protein, beta GADD45 Beta protein, Myeloid differentiation primary response protein MyD118 protein, Growth arrest and DNA-damage-inducible protein
