- Applikationshinweise
- Application Note: Anti-Goat IgG Phycoerythrin Conjugated antibody has been tested by dot blot and western blot and is suitable for immunomicroscopy and flow cytometry or FACS analysis as well as other antibody based fluorescent assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity. The maximum amount of reagent required to stain 1 x 10E6 cells in flow cytometry is approximately 1.0 μg of antibody conjugate. Lesser amounts of reagent may be sufficient for staining. Optimal titers for other applications should be determined by the researcher. As a general guideline dilutions of 1:100 to 1:250 should be suitable for most applications. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Flow Cytometry Dilution: 1:100 - 1:250 Western Blot Dilution: 1:1,000 IF Microscopy Dilution: 1:100 - 1:250 Other: FLOW 1:100 - 1:250

- Hintergrund
- Secreted as part of the adaptive immune response by plasma B cells, immunoglobulin G constitutes 75 % of serum immunoglobulins. Immunoglobulin G binds to viruses, bacteria, as well as fungi and facilitates their destruction or neutralization via agglutination (and thereby immobilizing them), activation of the compliment cascade, and opsonization for phagocytosis. The whole IgG molecule possesses both the F(c) region, recognized by high-affinity Fc receptor proteins, as well as the F(ab) region possessing the epitope-recognition site. Both heavy and light chains of the antibody molecule are present. Anti-Goat IgG (H&L) antibody is ideal for investigators involved in serum component protein research.
